I will never, ever use another foundation ever again.

Even if you paid me, I would never put a liquid foundation on my face for as long as I live. Why? Because of Bare Escentuals and the incredible quality offered by Bare Minerals. It costs 4 times as much as my long time Cover Girl favorite. It lasts 4 times longer and I look 100% more natural. Worth it? You bet.

It takes so little to use, I’m still on the first package from my first order. It lasts forever.


The Brushes that come with the kit are big and fluffy and sable. Along with the 2 shades of foundation, it also comes with Mineral Veil, which is their version of “powder.” This sets the color and even further evens out the skin tone. It’s what really makes the coverage last all day. After work, if I need a fresh face, I just put a little more on top. It’s not cakey at all.

Here’s my real test. “So safe, you can even sleep in it.”  We’ll see. I feel extremely guilty if I don’t wash my face before bed. I rarely do it, but when I used to, I would pay the next morning with a bump on my chin. I slept in Bare Escentuals after a night of drinking and guess what happened? Nothing. I’m sold.

Upshot: Anyone who dislikes the feel of foundation or suspects their foundation is making their skin worse, should try this product.
