Konjac Sponges aka Devil's Tongue For Your Face

I love people who put stuff on their face for science! Konjac root, (aka Devil's Tongue and Voodoo Lily) makes a great skin tool. I'm almost completely over washcloths, which would be a very impressive feat.

To be clear, I have an aversion to sponges. I can't even deal with a loofah or shower poof in the shower. They get wet = gross. But i was lucky enough to receive one from Avola Konjac, and I can't go back.

It feels like a loofah until you wet it. It will soften and get weird. That's when you rub it on your face. It almost feels gelatinous. I choose to use it after my normal face washing as an exfoliant, but know that it will remove makeup: with or without soap.

Make sure you let it dry well. It will go back to being hard once dry. Re-wet and it's ready to use again!

I used the white one- Hypoallergenic and for all skin types, even sensitive skin. I'm ready to try them all! My skin is softer and I dare say brighter. I've only tried one Konajc so far, but lot's of drugstore brands are putting them out now.
