# Nexxus Emergencee Review

This is another great protein bonding product for the hair. I used to use this stuff
every night when my hair was white and falling out at the roots.

It is a reconstructor, so it will not moisturize your hair, but adds protein back
into the broken shaft. Follow the instructions carefully, as this is also a product
that you shouldn’t use conditioner BEFORE.

**Description:**
Emergencee Strengthening Polymeric Reconstructor repairs and strengthens
damaged hair and stops hair breakage. It is a blend of polymers, elastins, amino
acids and collagen creating an internal framework within the hair shaft to restore
integrity. Use once every 2 weeks to structurally reinforce hair that has been chemically
damaged or abused by thermal styling. Each treatment will dramatically improve hair’s
health, condition and shine.Also works as a great pre-treat before any chemical 
service, like dye.

When I first started using this back in 2000, the instructions said to leave it 
on for 10 minutes. Now all the bottles say leave on for 1-2 minutes. Do as you will.
When you ahve time, I would leave it in for a half hour or more for a special protein
treat. Just make sure you use a good moisturizer afterwards, like Nexxus Humectress.(
Now I sound like a commercial) But seriously, there are few conditioners that my
hair can stand, but Humectress is one of them.
