OUCH!
It’s not pleasant, but it must be done. Hair removal.
One of the less glamorous aspects of beauty, but a necessary one. Along with shaving or waxing usually comes those annoying red bumps messing everything up. And then there’s Tend Skin. A miracle product to be sure.
I was tempted not to talk about Tend Skin because I found out it’s just aspirin. Aspirin in some water and alcohol and glycerin. (Inactive ingredients.) Aspirin is another name for salicylic acid, a great exfoliant and anti-irritant. You can make your own and save the $20.<<instructions coming soon!
Thanks be to the Cosmetics Cop Paula Begoun for this little tidbit. I made my own and it worked, but not as well. This stuff makes the bumps disappear completely, and if used regularly, the bumps don’t come at all.
A surprising feature of this product is how well it works for your face, too. A friend recommended me this product. One day her skin looked amazingly clear. I asked her what foundation she was wearing and she said none. She had been using tend skin on her face and it cleared everything up.
I started doing the same and my face has never been clearer or soft or even-toned
A word of caution: this stuff is very strong and drying. I only suggest using it on your face once a day or only a couple times a week as a toner. Do not use more than once a day and then get mad at me when your face starts falling off.
Again, I hate the price but it’s worth it if you suffer from shaving irritation or acne. You could be creative and try making your own. Use 4-6 uncoated aspirin dissolved in a little water to make a paste. If you use it for bikini bumps, leave on. If you use it as a face mask, rinse off after 20 minutes or when dry. Who knew?
