I’ve always loved a good brow. They frame your face and can eliminate the need for eye makeup. I have been plucking my brows since I was 12. I used to have a mono brow, but I think most of those hair follicles died years ago. Every year or so I alter my brows slightly to fit the fashion. The past couple of years they have been very thin and highly arched. They work well with my face. Big brows are back this season. I have full brows and decided to grow them out. But I wanted a new shape. Shopping we go.

Eyebrowz.com is a great site that sells eyebrow stencils. It will guide you through determining your face shape and the best brow shape for your face. It will answer the questions we always ask ourselves: How thin, how long and how arched should my brow be?

For example, the goal of any eyebrow is to make all of our faces appear more oval, (which, by the way is the perfect face shape. We hate you all, you oval headed persons).

If you are a round head, you should choose a highly arched brow. Those of you who are long in the face should try flat brows with no arch at all. Square faces look good in very angled brows (which are different from highly arched brows, mind you.) Heart shaped faces (yours truly) look more oval in rounded brows. Diamond heads can go with either rounded brows or angled brows. Any one with the sought out face of the oval can wear any brow they want, you lucky dog, you.

At eyebrowz.com, you may choose from either pre-selected stencil collections or mix and match your own. It costs $14.95 for 4 stencils. I also ordered the stencil holder (a plastic headband for holding it to your head) and the white outliner stick. I would pass on the white liner. You can buy these at the drug store for under a dollar. The stencil can be used to shape the eyebrows by plucking or shaving OR used to fill in the brows with pencil or shadow. They are fun and easy to use.

  The best part is going through the celebrity list of brows. Pick your favorite actress and have her brows. Be Courtney Cox, Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Taylor or Audrey Hepburn. Be careful how you pick your brows.

I strongly suggest you follow the face shape and brow length for your face. I ordered 2 sets of 4 but I couldn’t use half of them because they were way too big for my face.
