First of all, it has the word “CAT” in the name. Bonus points already. Maybe because it gives you big sex kitten hair?

This blue bottle you see above may be the answer to my hair problems. I read on MUA (makeupalley.com) that this one product single handedly improved the most damaged hair. More than a couple people said that this was the only thing that saved their hair from the chopping block. I wish I would’ve found it a couple years ago when my hair was bleached and broken.

My first bottle is almost gone. I used it about 3 or 4 times a week and the bottle lasted almost 3 months. The directions say to shampoo, towel dry, apply CAT, wait 5 minutes and then rinse. You could apply conditioner afterwards if you want. I followed the instructions, and it was fine, but I found a better way.

I shampoo and condition as usual. Then I let my hair dry completely before spraying CAT all over and almost saturate my hair again. Then i let that dry. It makes your hair crunchy when you do it this way, so you have to comb and then brush it out once its dry. Then I steam curl it.

It makes my hair so thick, it’s unbelievable.

But it doesn’t leave it crunchy once you brush it out. The point of this stuff is to topically apply protein to the hair so it fills in the tiny cracks in the hair shaft making the hair stronger. Fine, but it also makes your hair thick! (Girls with thick hair may not need this for thickness, but maybe for strength? Or just use it as the instructions say on the bottle. Hair does not come out very thick that way) My only complaint is that it seems to attract more dirt and dust into your hair after a day or so.

I’m almost out and no, I don’t have $12 to go buy it at Ulta. Christmas gift, anyone?
